40+ Breathtaking Tilt Shift Photography Examples
1At the first look at tilt shift photography images, you would think it is a Photoshop effect or a trick that creates this miniature photo effects. However these images were only created using a digital camera. The tilt shift photography displays the photographs with clear focus of the main object in the image and displays the rest of the images as minimized and blurred. Hence, the effect requires a special tilt shift camera lens.
The tilt shift photography name comes from the ability of the tilt-shift lens to rotate horizontally with the image plane, which is known as tilt, and vertically on the image plane which is known as shifting. The tilt rotation is responsible for creating a sharp focus on a specific object in the image and the shifting adjusts the object’s position in the photo.
