Amazing Space Optical Illusions By Regina Silveira
0Optical Illusion depends deceiving the viewer by using lines and shadows to illustrate a different view than the reality. In her project Regina Silveira provide a unique experience to the usage of space and fake perspective to display optical illusion artwork.
Her artwork uses the exhibition walls and floors as a drawing space for building windows that give you an impression the heights and may be defeat your fear of high places.
The other artwork examples show the usage of black color to appear like shadow on the wall for specific objects in the room.
Regina Silveira is a Brazilian artist lives in Sao Paulo. She studied art studio in the Instituto de Artes da UFRGS and hold master and PhD degrees in arts from Escola de Comunicaçoes, USP.
She holds different exhibitions in many cities such as, Lumen, Sombra Luminosa, Bogotá Velha, ES Brazil, Tropel, and more.
Also, Regina holds a lot of prizes and grants such as the Simon Guggenheim Foundation, Sérgio Motta for Art and Technology prize, the Fundação Bunge Award in Arts, the Great Art Critics Award, given to Tramazul at MASP (2010/2011) by APCA (São Paulo Art Critics Association) in 2011.
