Fonts library is one of the essential resources for any graphic designer who would like to use creativity typography in his or her design. The pixel fonts or the bitmap refer to the type of fonts that does not have anti-aliasing applied to it. So, you can easily identify the pixels that draw each glyph in the font. If you are familiar with pixel fonts, it is commonly used in web and game industry.

While the pixel fonts are not smooth as the normal fonts, it suites the small size text. When you reduce the size of the text a lot, the anti-alias pixel can cause the problem of blurry text. Therefore, you will find pixel fonts more suitable for small sizes. On the other hand, you can remove the anti-aliasing from other fonts using design applications such as Adobe Photoshop, but some fonts may not be prepared for this step. Therefore, if you are planning to use aliased text, make sure to pick up one of those pixel fonts or bitmap fonts on the web.
