His photos changed our way in looking at the crowded city by revealing the amazing beauty behind the buildings, streets and people. He is not just a city photographer but a talented photographer. Niki Barbati has an amazing profile that attracted me from the first sight.

His profile shows extraordinary photography skills in different fields of photography especially in taking pictures of the different cities that he visited around the world such as Rome, Las Vegas, New York, South Africa and others. The composition in his artwork reflects a deep understanding to the scene elements and how to implement it to create a fantastic photograph.

He was born in Naples in 1958. From the 80’s, he lived in Rome where he worked as a journalist at the daily “Il Messaggero”, culture and show business. He is always keen to images in all forms. He believed the ultimate expression of photography is black and white. Having him discovered the HDR, he experimented it in all its forms. He spent hours looking for beautiful images also drawings, preferably in black and white. He uses Photoshop to change the picture clearly, or even falsify it whether it is favorable to adjust lights and shadow.
